Chrysler reveals details and pricing for updated Pacifica minivan
Published in Automotive News
Chrysler's refreshed 2027 Pacifica minivan includes updated front-end styling, new safety features and other tweaks for a base price of about $45,000, the brand said Monday.
Chrysler said orders for the seven or eight-passenger van are open this week and it is scheduled to arrive in dealerships this summer.
The Pacifica was introduced for the 2017 model year, and its last mid-cycle refresh was in 2021, but it's remained a solid performer for parent Stellantis NV: Sales of the Windsor-made minivan grew 2% in the United States last year to 110,000 units.
The most notable change is the new front-end styling, which includes vertical LED headlamps and an illuminated grille. There are minor tweaks to the rear, including a new Chrysler wing logo. New wheel designs and colors are included in the update.
On the interior are new accents and a new "Blue Agave" leather option for the top-line Pinnacle trim. New safety features include turn signal-activated blind spot view and a new parking-assistance camera technology.
A new adjustable-height power liftgate is also standard across trims for 2027, the company said.
For those who like the minivan's older styling, it'll still be available, in the form of the lower-level Pacifica LX. That name replaces the Voyager, which is what the brand had called its entry-level van after bringing it back for retail customers for 2025.
That LX version that doesn't include the styling and other updates of upper trims and starts at $41,495, not including $1,995 in destination fees.
The updated Pacifica models start at $44,545, not including destination for the Select trim, up to $58,255 for the top-level Pinnacle trim in all-wheel-drive. That's similar to the 2026's prices.
Gone is the plug-in hybrid option for 2027, along with Stellantis NV's other plug-in hybrids. The automaker didn't announce any other changes to the van's powertrain for 2027, which in recent years has utilized a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6.
The announcement of the updated minivan's details comes days after Stellantis NV switched out Chrysler's CEO, with Chris Feuell leaving the company and Dodge CEO Matt McAlear adding the brand to his responsibilities. He noted in a statement Monday that Chrysler created the minivan 43 years ago and pledged it would "continue leading the segment we invented." The Pacifica is the only model that Chrysler makes.
