NEW YORK — Tom Cruise’s estranged daughter Suri, who’s dropped her dad’s surname at least professionally, will perform in a student Shakespearean adaptation at Edinburgh Festival Fringe next month.

The 20-year-old daughter of the “Mission: Impossible” star, 64, and 47-year-old ex-wife Katie Holmes, will appear in a modern adaptation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” TMZ reports.

It’s unclear how Suri is involved, as she’s not listed among the nine actors in the July 31 performance at CMU, nor is she named among the stage crew.

Rebranded as “Midsummer!” the Kim Weild-helmed production — whose Fringe previews begin Aug. 6, with performances running through Aug. 19 — is “bursting with magic, mischief and queer transformative joy,” according to Fringe’s summary.

TMZ says the show weaves together “Appalachian folk and house music, queer liberation, and Pittsburgh’s industrial aesthetic.”

Funnily, the Pittsburgh element actually ties father and daughter together.

One of Cruise’s earliest breakout roles was with 1983’s “All the Right Moves,” in which he plays a hot-headed high school football star desperate to get out of dodge — in this case, a steel mill town filmed partially in Pittsburgh.

Suri is Cruise’s only biological child, though he’s closer to daughter Bella, 33, and 31-year-old son Connor, both of whom he adopted with second wife Nicole Kidman. His six-year marriage to Holmes marked his third and last, to date.

In spring 2024, news broke that Suri graduated from Manhattan’s LaGuardia High School with the moniker “Suri Noelle” — the latter being Holmes’ middle name — rather than Suri Cruise.

It’s not clear how long ago Cruise and Suri last saw each other, though it’s believed to be over a decade ago.
