CHICAGO — Tickets to visit the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago’s Jackson Park go on sale at 9 a.m. Central time Wednesday, ahead of its planned opening to the public on June 19.

According to an announcement on Tuesday from the Obama Foundation, tickets will be available for admission through Nov. 30 at www.obama.org/visit/museum-tickets. Admission is $23-$30, or $15-$26 for Illinois residents (children 2 and under are free; up to nine tickets per buyer). For visits after Nov. 30, sign up at https://obama.org/visit/get-the-latest.

Entry to the Museum at the Obama Center is timed; tickets will be nonrefundable and will be safeguarded against reselling for anything other than personal use. The Foundation says buyers should expect high demand and wait times on Wednesday, and weekend and summer dates are expected to sell out first.

The rest of the 19.3-acre campus — including 23 of its 28 original works of public art — is free to visit without prior reservations.
