Jennifer Lawrence addresses plastic surgery rumors, admits to boob job

Jennifer Lawrence is getting real about her postpartum body.
In a new interview with The Cut, the 36-year-old Oscar-winner confirmed she has received a breast lift and said she would likely undergo a face-lift in the future, when the time is right. She explained that she still wants to feel good about herself, even with how becoming a mother has affected her body.
“I want to be a sexy mom,” she said. “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s– together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s– together.”
Lawrence and her husband, art gallerist and dealer Cooke Maroney, share two kids together: Cy, 4, and a second son, who they welcomed in early 2025. The couple met through a mutual friend in 2018 and married in the following year at the Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island.
The actress previously opened up about her desire to get a boob job in an interview published in the New Yorker last year. She told the publication her experience with giving birth and the subsequent aftermath was fairly different with each of her boys.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” she said. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”
And back in September, she revealed to Vogue that she’s also considered buccal fat removal from her cheeks to enhance her cheekbones, though she has yet to actually try it herself. She said she was worried the changes to her face would be far too obvious, especially given how often she appears onscreen.
“I can’t really get very much [Botox] done. I need to have movement in my face — I get baby Botox, but I can’t do a lot,” she revealed. “I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I don’t know about [getting] that.”
The “Hunger Games” star added: “I mean, I would love to have a buccal fat removal. I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
