FORT WORTH, Texas — “Dutton Ranch” will be back in North Texas in no time, according to one of its main stars.

The Paramount+ series spent months filming its first season all across North Texas, including in Ferris, Dallas and Fort Worth. The show wrapped up Season 1 in July and is coming back for a second go-round.

Series star Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, recently confirmed when cameras roll on Season 2.

Here’s what to know.

When ‘Dutton Ranch’ starts filming Season 2

Reilly confirmed that Season 2 filming is to begin in early 2027, according to Deadline.

While there was no month given for the production’s return, if Season 1 is any indication, the show is expected to film for several months. Season 1 filmed in North Texas from August 2025 until this past March.

The actress also commented on exploring the next chapter of Beth’s story after “Yellowstone.”

“A risk I’m proud we took, taking Beth from the mothership to start a new life in South Texas with lots of snakes,” Reilly said.
