DETROIT — Motown icon Stevie Wonder has announced fall tour dates, including a pair of concerts at Detroit's Fox Theatre.

The tour marks the 50th anniversary of his 18th studio album, the Grammy Award-winning chart topper "Songs in the Key of Life." The run of fall dates includes Fox Theatre shows on Dec. 8 and 9.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com. Prices were not announced.

Released in September 1976, the Diamond-selling album features the songs "I Wish," "Isn't She Lovely," "Sir Duke" and others, and earned Wonder his third album of the year Grammy Award.

"Songs in the Key of Life" is not only Wonder's bestselling album, but it is considered one of the greatest recordings of all time. Twenty years ago, it was inducted into the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress.

Wonder, a native of Saginaw, recorded for Tamla and Motown records. The singer, songwriter, musician and producer, 76, has been honored with nearly every award and accolade that a musician can garner. A winner of 25 Grammy Awards, he's the only artist to have nabbed the album of the year honor for three consecutive albums.

Wonder's last Detroit concert was a sold-out show in October 2024 at Little Caesars Arena.
