Bay Area's largest music festival keeps adding more artists to lineup

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Stop us if you’ve heard this before, but Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has added even more artists to its lineup.
Yup, it’s the festival that just keeps right on giving.
Los Lobos, Langford, Hogan & Timms, Mavis Staples, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, Bandits on the Run, Tift Merritt, Meels, Moonalice, Anna Moss, ¿Qiensave? and Lukas Nelson are among the new additions to the free three-day music event, which runs Oct. 2-4 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
And even more artists are expected to be added to the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass bill in the days to come.
The current lineup for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass — which ranks as the largest music festival in Northern California — also includes such previously-announced acts as AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Hiss Golden Messenger, Kathleen Edwards, My Morning Jacket, Old Crow Medicine Show, El Khat, Tyler Ballgame, William Tyler & Yasmin Williams, John Craigie w/ The Coffis Brothers, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Darrell Scott String Band w/ Rob Ickes, Dug, Mama’s Broke, A Tribute to Joe Ely with the Flatlanders and Friends, Alison Krauss & Union Station F: Jerry Douglas, Kam Franklin, Ismay, Jesse Welles and Sierra Hull.
