Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, attempted suicide before she was rushed to a hospital in Michigan over the weekend, according to a report.

First responders were called to Scott’s home in Chesterfield on Saturday evening by her nephew, who said in a 911 call that she “cut her wrist” and was “bleeding.” In dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, the operator can be heard rerouting officers to Scott’s address for what she calls a possible “suicide attempt.”

“She’s currently sitting on the couch listening to music,” the dispatcher tells officers. “The knife is in her hand, and she will not give it to the caller.”

She later adds: “She’s unconscious now. The caller was able to remove it.”

When officers arrived on the scene around 8 p.m., they discovered Scott suffering from a “hemorrhage” or “laceration,” which resulted in heavy and uncontrolled bleeding, per a Chesterfield Fire/EMS report cited by TMZ. The outlet on Tuesday also published photos that see Scott being placed on a gurney and then into an ambulance.

She was hospitalized at McLaren Macomb Hospital, and her current condition is unknown.

Scott, formerly Mathers, was married to Eminem from 1999 to 2001 and then again for three months in 2006. They share a daughter, 30-year-old Hailie Jade. Eminem is additionally the adoptive father of Scott’s son from a previous relationship, Steve, as well as Alaina, who is the biological child of Scott’s sister.

The duo are also grandparents. Hailie welcomed her son, Elliott, in March 2025, and Alaina welcomed her daughter Scottie in April of this year.
