Dave Chappelle was shocked by Travis Kelce's tame bachelor party.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end jetted to California last month for a bachelor party with his closest friends, ahead of his wedding to pop superstar Taylor Swift, and one of the activities was a trip to San Diego to watch Chappelle perform a sold-out comedy show at Viejas Arena on June 21.

However, controversial comic Chappelle was "shocked" by Travis and his friends.

Speaking to co-hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper on CNN's Independence Eve broadcast, he said: "I was shocked, I had never seen anything like that. A w******** bachelor party.

"Whatever makes you happy, Travis."

Chappelle also quipped that he was annoyed not to have been invited to Taylor and Travis' wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday (07.03.26).

Dave said: "I heard he was getting married at Madison Square Garden. You would think I could have got an invite, but I didn't. I didn't make the 15,000 closest friends."

The ceremony was officiated by Travis' Happy Gilmore 2 co-star Adam Sandler and celebrities invited to the lavish party included Lena Dunham, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz, Hugh Grant, the Haim sisters, Selena Gomez and Chris Rock.

Other attendees included Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez, Michael Strahan, George Stephanopoulos, Stephen A. Smith, Tom Brady and Kansas City Chief's coach Andy Reid.

In a break with tradition, Taylor chose not to have bridesmaids and Travis had no groomsmen, but they had their brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce respectively, by their sides for the occasion.

A spokesperson for Taylor said in a statement: "Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor's Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis' Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler."

After months of speculation about their outfits, the representative confirmed both the Opalite hitmaker and the Kansas City Chiefs hitmaker wore custom Christian Dior outfits, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

The statement read: "The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry."

A huge digital sign outside Madison Square Garden confirmed the pair had exchanged vows.

It read: "JUST+T MARRIED!(sic)"
