England footballer Jude Bellingham wants to be the next James Bond.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has starred for the Three Lions at the current World Cup, has set his sights on a future career away from the beautiful game, and one of his main ambitions is to step into 007's shoes.
Speaking to James Corden on Fox's World Cup After Hours, he said: "I'd love to be in a movie.
"People always say to me, 'What's the thing I'd want to do out of football?' - and I never really give it that much thought, but when I have I always come to, 'I'd love to be in a film.'
"I'd love to be James Bond. I've watched all of them.
"I've watched the (Sean) Connery ones, Roger Moore, I've seen all of them. I love James Bond."
While Bellingham wants to follow in Daniel Craig's footsteps by portraying the suave spy in a motion picture, he would happily settle for a minor part in a Bond flick.
He added: "I swear, I'd love to be in the back of a James Bond film.
"(Maybe) James Bond himself, but you've got to crawl before you can walk. They haven't [found a new Bond] yet, have they?"
Bellingham then delivered Bond's famous line, "The name's Bond, James Bond."
Jude then joked: "I think I've got a shot!"
Last year, England captain Harry Kane also admitted he fancied himself as a James Bond-style character in the future.
He took to social media to share AI-generated pictures of himself looking like 007.
The Bayern Munich player's pictures included snaps of him hanging from a helicopter, riding a snowmobile, parachuting and even avoiding laser beams.
He wrote on his Instagram account. He wrote: "Living out my action hero dreams with a little help from Gemini! Try it yourself - prompt's in the post."
