New on DVD: Find comradery with dark comedy 'Twinless'
Published in Entertainment News
The sophomore film from writer-director James Sweeney tops the DVD releases for the week of May 12.
"Twinless": Dylan O’Brien stars alongside Sweeney in this black comedy-drama as two young men who connect after meeting in a support group for twinless twins.
"Billed as a dark comedy about two strangers who trauma bond over the deaths of each of their twin brothers, it often sidesteps its morose premise — hilariously and diabolically so," writes The Seattle Times' Dominic Baez in his review. "It’s an unsparing examination of loneliness and grief, thanks to a devastating knockout dual performance by co-star Dylan O’Brien. It’s also one of the funniest movies of the year, unabashed in its morbid humor and scathing dialogue."
