Dylan Sprouse tackled an alleged trespasser and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.
The Suite Life of Zach and Cody's actor's wife Barbara Palvin called emergency services at around 12.30am on Friday (17.04.26) to say there had been an attempted burglary at their home, and when cops arrived at their Hollywood Hills home, they were able to apprehend the man, whose name hasn't been revealed.
Sources told TMZ that Dylan confronted the alleged trespasser and held him down until police arrived. Officers were told the 33-year-old actor had a gun and, at one point he put it back in his holster and behind the front gate of his house.
Dylan is also said to have confronted the man with the weapon before tackling him.
The actor is said to be OK but very shaken up.
Police insiders claimed the situation was more like trespassing than an attempted burglary, but Dylan and Barbara didn't want the man, who didn't make it into their house, booked for trespassing.
Instead, LAPD arrested the suspect - who was described as a "creepy guy" on outstanding warrants.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
Dylan and Barbara, 32, met at a party in 2018 and married in 2023, and the Beautiful Wedding actor previously admitted he feels a sense of satisfaction waking up with barbara every morning.
He told E! News: "I really like mornings in general. Mornings are really great, just because there is like a very calm and collected satisfaction of waking up next to your wife--which is a cool thing to say, by the way, like, 'my wife,' and also in a Borat voice, it's fun too.
"But when you roll over and you see your beautiful wife and she's asleep and then you see your dog and you're in your house and the things that you like, created, it's very calming and it's very nice and it makes you want to work harder."
Dylan shot to fame as a teenager alongside his twin brother Cole when they were given the title roles on Disney Channel sitcom 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' but Dylan explained that even though he worked alongside his brother for so many years, he always felt as if he was working for himself until Barbara came along.
He added: "For so many years of my life, even though I have a twin, I was working for myself. From when I started dating [Barbara], I was like, 'Oh, I have someone to work for,' which makes me feel very happy, and that was nice. That's the best part.."
Asked if he thinks there are any "cons" to married life, he said: "In my marriage? No, I don't think so!"
