Jessie J cancelled a gig in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night (25.01.26) after the venue was hit by a massive snow storm.

The 37-year-old pop star had been due to perform at the Danforth Music Hall but she admitted her journey to the venue "wasn't safe" and she made the decision to call off the show because the blizzard was getting worse and she was worried about fans "risking their safety" by travelling home in the dark after the show.

In a post on Instagram, Jessie apologised for the cancellation and wrote: "I am personally making the decision to cancel tonight's show in TORONTO.

"I don't feel comfortable having people risk their safety for the show. I understand some people will be upset and some I'm sure will be relieved, however I feel this is the right decision.

"You will get a full refund for your tickets. I am truly sorry. I am currently standing in the venue and getting here wasn't safe and the snow is only getting worse.

"I just can't imagine how people would get home in the dark with the weather like this. I hope you can respect my decision even if you may disagree.

"But for me safety always has to come first. Lots of love, J."

Jessie is currently touring the US and Canada on her No Secrets tour, which will conclude in Los Angeles in February before she takes the shows to Cihina in March and the UK and Europe in April.

The singer revealed in June she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and she underwent treatment in 2025.

Jessie recently revealed she is ready to move on and enjoy life this year - and she's got big plans for her career.

She told Women's Health UK Just As Well podcast: "Next year I'd love to go into stand up. I would love to do comedy more. I'd love to do film.

"I'm obviously touring a lot next year. I definitely want to make more music. I haven't written a song for three years, but I know it's all there ready to come out.

"I just want to be happy. Happy, sane, enjoying what I do, calm, healthy, being as present as a mum as I am as at work with some decent tunes out.

"And maybe doing something that challenges me, whether it's a book or a children's album or comedy or Broadway or film, whatever's going to come will come."
