Walt Disney Co. plans to cut hundreds of jobs as part of a restructuring of its television operations, extending a wave of job cuts, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The overhaul will consolidate divisions at the company, according to the Journal, which cited unidentified people familiar with the matter. Top executives are hashing out details of the move, the newspaper said.

Disney, which owns networks like ABC, ESPN and FX, has already been slimming down its operations under new Chief Executive Officer Josh D’Amaro. He began cutting 1,000 companywide positions soon after he took the reins in March.

Disney President and Chief Creative Officer Dana Walden was asked about job cuts during the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles.

“We’re not firing people every six months,” she said. “Like all of our similarly situated competitors, and certainly all of our competitors in the tech industry, there is a need to constantly evaluate how you’re structured.”

Disney also has been raising prices. In September, the company announced it was boosting the rates of several of its streaming subscriptions in the U.S. for the sixth time in as many years.
