Auto review: 2026 Lexus IS F-Sport: the art of the luxury sport sedan

Lexus has provided many wins over the years for consumers, chief among them being sedan success with the IS.

Regardless of what others say, this is not an upscale Toyota Camry. The Lexus IS adds the luxurious flare consumers demand and provides power and style while maintaining comfort, exactly what Lexus consumers demand.

With a history of dependability and excellent resale value, the Lexus brand continues to deliver to its buyers, and the 2026 Lexus IS 350 F Sport is no different.

Packed with plenty of power from its 3.5-liter V-6 engine producing 311 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, the Lexus IS 350 F Sport has no problem getting up and going. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive, this sedan is ready to run.

On our tester, we noticed a slew of standard and upgrade features. Dual exhaust, F-SPORT suspension tuning, LED headlamps and rain-sensing wipers were just a few of the standard features. We also saw 19-inch BBS forged alloy wheels, triple beam headlights, Mark Levinson premium audio, power moonroof, and upgraded technology safety features such as front-cross traffic alert, lane-change assist and traffic jam.

And since it's a Lexus, we have to mention the comfort and sportiness. Its overall stance, leather F Sport seats, aluminum F Sport pedals and ambient illumination make the IS 350 a really great sedan option for those in the luxury market.

All in all, the Lexus IS 350 F Sport is an icon in the luxury sedan market. Its unique design and upscale features make it stand out from the competition. Additionally, for a luxury sedan with a base price under $50K, the Lexus IS 350 F Sport is easily the one that deserves to be in your garage.
